The rooster on the rocks has been deftly sculpted by an expert master Carver using a piece of pure mammoth ivory tusk. Look at the exquisite and delicate curves and delineated lines as they merge to form a vibrant rooster. Look at the plume feathers, distinctly in three dimensional, the Master Carver has managed to carve a unique figurine from a few layers of mammoth ivory tusk. Notice the beady eyes, the wattle and comb and the exquisitely open beak, showing a little tongue. The marvel of this sculpture is the tiny details captured with painstaking details, giving the beautiful mammoth ivory figurine an elegance.
Intricately Carved Rooster on a Rock
Look at the rough skin texture on the legs or the tiny yet detailed foot of the rooster. Look at the crowing position as if the rooster is about to wake everyone around after the sun is up. See the neck feathers and how they curl and fall around the neck and shoulders. See the asymmetrical smaller feathers, the feathers on the wings and how the rooster has been carved. Notice each and every detail has been carved to perfection.
See how the Master Carver has carved the rocks, the blades of grass and the plants around the feet of the rooster. Notice the multiple layers of the mammoth ivory tusk that broke off the main piece and have been used creatively by the Master Carver. Even the back of the figurine has been carved in detail. See the floral details in between the rocks, lending a beautiful pattern on the mammoth ivory sculpture. The complete sculpture of the rooster with the fine details has been set on a wooden base.
