Look at this beautiful pair of horses with high vitality and strength. Notice the muscles and the well-defined form. The master artist has caught the pair in action and carved them as mirror-images of each other. See the milky white body yet the tail has shades of brown which is due to the natural mammoth ivory tusks lying buried under the permafrost and absorbing the minerals from the soil for ages. It has given the tusk of ivory shades brown. Notice the well-delineated profiles, clear nostrils, symmetrical body postures and clear hoofs. Caught in action, the horses are running and the lean muscles are ripped, showing the strength and agility of well-bred horses.
Look at it from the back, the flying mane has shades of brown and seems as if the wind has caught it while the artist captured the moment in ivory. The tail hair is in motion as the rear legs pound the earth. Notice the polish and finish of natural ancient ivory and the firm, bold strokes o the sculptor as the horse figure emerges from a block of ivory tusk. Set upon solid teakwood base, each of the horse has its own customized, yet identical base. Notice the hand painted and inlay on the base, giving the base a beautiful pattern.
