The beautiful figurine of a Mammoth Ivory Japanese Samurai has been intricately crafted to show the fine details on the bodice, tunic and traditional armor.
See the curve of the uplifted arm, the texture of skin on the fingers as it folds to hold the shell-like horn.
Look at the spaced feet as the Samurai stands fully armed, with one hand on the sword placed in the scabbard.
The bow has been crafted from a single piece of Mammoth ivory tusk and the arrows are finely crafted with the feathers clearly visible and don’t miss the courageous expression on the face of the Samurai.
Look at the knot on the tunic, the clear curves and rope details are exquisite.
Notice the fine detailed painting of flowers and circles ob the arm protector, scabbard and even the quiver full of individually crafted arrows.
The figurine might have difference in color at places or discoloration due to the tusk being buried deep under the arctic permafrost.
The ivory used in sculpting the figurine is Mammoth ivory which is legal and can be shipped worldwide.
It is sent upon carved teakwood that has been craved from one single solid block of wood and enhances the beauty of the figurine.
