This small yet beautiful mammoth ivory tiger carving, perched on a rock has been done carefully. Carved on a splintered piece of the tusk, notice the tiny details on the muscular body of the tiger, as it seems to get ready to take a leap from the rock. The thick base of the tusk forms the cliff and the Master artist has managed to ingeniously use the ancient ivory to carve the traditional Orient symbol of power, the majestic tiger.

Notice the rippling muscles on the rear and the legs, the roaring mouth and the large teeth. Look at the paws and the pulled-out nails. Notice the polished body and the well-defined physique of the tiger. Look at the tiger stripes, the mane and the ferocious look on the face of the tiger. See the tiny trees in the background that give the verdant look to the sculpture. See the back of the mammoth ivory sculpture, which is colored beige and brown. That is because of the organic ivory lay buried within the permafrost and is absorbed by the pure mammoth ivory. This gives it the hue of brown. This is an authenticity that it is legal and pure organic ivory.

The mammoth ivory tiger looks life-like and that talks about the skill of the artist and the expertise with fragile material of mammoth ivory. Notice the tiny vegetation at the bottom of the rock and that meanders behind till the back. The rough-hewn piece of mammoth tusk has been polished properly, to give it the right look. See how the Master Carver has managed to hand paint the stripes, after etching through the layers of delicate yet solid ivory. The tiny leaves and vines that seem to creep through the crevices of the rock are visible clearly, talking about the skill of the artist. The complete sculpture sits on an ornately carved wooden stand that is well-defined and carved intricately.
