This MAMMOTH IVORY figurine of A Nude Japanese Lady with Held Fan is very clearly carved, showing the figurine in great detail. The lady’s dress slips over the upper portion of the body, exposing the breasts. The lady is wearing a dainty painted dress and having an elaborate hairstyle, with a comb attached. She is holding the fan in the left hand, as if fanning herself. The beautiful dress of the lady has been painted very elaborately at the back with each fold, significantly carved. Her facial expressions are clearly visible and carved with great precision. She is looking up with a pondering expression on her face. This extremely attractive mammoth ivory figurine comes with a elegantly carved wooden stand. It adds a touch of class to the sculpture. It has a sign of the Master Sculptor.
