The father holds the bamboo rod on his shoulder, on the tip of the rod his child flying into the sky while his small child cheer them up. A wonderful piece of work, all the fine details are visible easily and carved to a great detail. You can even see the concentration look and the father's face. Look at the intricate carving done on the Japanese garments and the rod is looking as if woven, but actually carved from Mammoth Ivory!
This Mammoth Ivory Figurine comes with a extremely beautiful wooden stand, which complements this magnificent sculpture.

There is always a fear that the ivory sculpture that you bought might turn out to be a fake, because as a layman you may not be able to differentiate between a clever replicas and real ivory.
